About Laini
My name is Laini McArdle, I am a psychologist and the face behind 6 Minds Psychology. I am passionate about providing access to treatment for individuals and families affected by eating disorders, disordered eating, shape and weight concerns. My aim is to provide psychoeducation to promote early detection and to use evidence-based interventions to treat eating disorders, disordered eating, and shape and weight concerns.
I have experience working with all eating disorders particularly in adolescents and young adults.

My approach is friendly, warm and genuine care, with the aim of fostering a collaborative and safe space for my clients.
I also have experience working with with anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobias, depression, suicidal risk management and assessment, bariatric surgery assessment, preparation and post-op, and adjustment disorder.
